1991 | VW Golf I Convertible

Very nice VW Golf 1 imported from southern Germany in 2009. Mileage: 180,000 km. The car is in genuinely well-preserved condition. Never welded and only driven during summer in Denmark.

Delivered new from Autohaus Neumayr in Munich on January 4, 1991, making it one of the final production years of the Golf 1.

Over the years, the Golf 1 underwent significant development, and in the later models it received fuel injection, a 1.8-liter engine with 100 hp, and a 5-speed gearbox.

Everything about this car is documented. Original service book. German registration documents included. It drives exactly as it should.

It has a new convertible top, new alloy wheels and tires, and has been properly maintained. Presented in partially original paint.

You get a lot of open-top car for the money. Fuel economy is good. Golf 1 spare parts are widely available and reasonably priced. This is a car that can handle being driven.

In 2026 it will turn 35 years old. At that point, road tax will be almost nothing, and inspections are only required every 8 years (Denmark)
